The Catholic Pro-Life Action Network (C-PLAN) of Charlotte is a network of dedicated pro-life Catholics with a commitment to spreading a Culture of Life in our city. Over the years many Catholics in the Charlotte area have established outreach ministries to provide life-affirming alternatives to abortion. Each ministry fulfills a different need, and by collaborating together we offer HOPE to women in crisis pregnancies. Click on the links below to learn more about each ministry.
Charlotte Helpers
Helpers of God’s Precious Infants – Charlotte chapter – is a Catholic sidewalk counseling group which also encourages group prayer at our local abortion clinic by hosting a Procession for Life four times a year with our parish priests. Click the link for more upcoming event dates.
Be Not Afraid Ministry
Be Not Afraid Ministry is a nationwide ministry founded in Charlotte, that provides care and support for parents who receive a prenatal diagnosis. The staff and volunteers support the emotional and tangible needs of the parents during pregnancy and up to one year. Click the link to learn more.
MiraVia
MiraVia is a maternity home for single student mothers located on the campus of Belmont Abbey College. MiraVia also hosts free outreach programs to meet the needs of pregnant women and their children, from baby supplies to life skills classes. Click the link to learn more.
Mary Garden Showers
Mary Garden Showers provides love, understanding, encouragement, and support to mothers who choose life in crisis pregnancies through organizing and hosting baby showers. Click the link to view upcoming baby shower dates.
E.P.I.C.
Every Person is Cherished (E.P.I.C.) is a pro-life group for teens by teens. They organize to pray monthly at our local abortion clinics, host teen pro-life conferences, and volunteer for pro-life work. Click the link to learn more.
Rachel’s Vineyard
