54 Day Rosary Novena for Protection & Provision

A national 54 Day Rosary novena which began Monday March 9  – Friday May 1 (St. Joseph the Worker) is  underway for our protection and provision in light of the coronavirus.  Organized by Fr. Richard Heilman of Wisconsin, this remedy though is nothing new to the Church… In times of turbulence –  WE PRAY.

Thus, beginning Monday March 9 and continuing until Friday May 1 (Feast of St. Joseph the Worker) a 54 Day Rosary novena will be prayed to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  Even though the novena is already underway it’s never too late to join us in the novena – so find today’s date on the below calendar and please join us in praying!

This will include a 54 Day Rosary Novena (to the Immaculate Heart), while adding:

  • The Sacred Heart Novena Prayer
  • The Memorare to St. Joseph
  • Prayer to St. Rocco (patron against diseases and illnesses)

It’s a series of 6 novenas of Rosaries (each novena 9 days) first introduced by Our Lady in 1884 to a young girl in Italy. It’s simple, begin the 1st day of the novena with the Joyful Mysteries, 2nd day, Sorrowful mysteries, and the 3rd day the Glorious Mysteries. Then on the 4th day, repeat sequence again. See chart below. Be sure to include the prayers to the Sacred Heart and Memorare to St. Joseph.
