Charlotte Life Chain RESCHEDULED DUE TO RAIN TO Sunday, October 25, 2015 2:00pm – 3:00pm Join us at the corners of East Blvd. and Scott Ave. for an hour of silent prayer to end the tragedy of babies dying from “abortion.” Gather at the St. Patrick Cathedral school parking lot on Buchanan St. at 1:45pm and we will provide Life Chain signs for everyone. National Night of Prayer for Life

Each year, the National Night of Prayer for Life takes place from 9 pm Dec. 8th to 1 am Dec. 9th. It was on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception (then celebrated on December 9th) that Our Lady of Guadalupe, patroness of the Americas and the unborn, first appeared to St. Juan Diego. Diaper Drive for MiraVia

MiraVia Diaper Drive in May  The St. Vincent de Paul Respect Life Committee has been collecting diapers, desitin and baby wipes for many years for Room at the Inn (now MiraVia). A large cradle and sign is set up in the gathering area for donated items. Please be generous!

Our Lady of Guadalupe Movie Event

The St. Mark Knights of Columbus in Huntersville are sponsoring a viewing of the new Knights of Columbus produced film, “Our Lady of Guadalupe: The Miracle and the Message”. The film is narrated by actor Jim Caviezel and brings history to life through modern reenactments, 3D animations and interviews with leading theologians, historians and scientists. The evening will also feature talks by Sister Gertrude and pastor Fr. Putnam. The event will be in the Msgr. Kerin Center at St. Mark parish.
