The Carolina Family Coalition, C-PLAN’s parent organization, is pleased to share its publication of the Veritas Report – a weekly e-newsletter examining the information (and misinformation) surrounding COVID-19 and its related issues.
The first name of the newsletter, Veritas, is Latin for “truth” and that is the goal with this report – to bring some truth and clarification during this time of confusion. The report will provide information and news summaries you might not hear elsewhere and examine the narrative being given to us by “experts” in the media and society.
COVID-19 and Abortion
As the COVID-19 crisis now is now linked to abortion through the promotion, research and testing of COVID-19 vaccines using aborted fetal tissue, C-PLAN is pleased to promote the Veritas Report so pro-life volunteers and Catholic faithful can become better informed on the situation.

St. Maximilian Kolbe & the Veritas Report
The Veritas Report was launched on Friday August 14, 2020, as it was the feast of St. Maximilian Kolbe, who died on that day in 1941, sacrificing his life for another in the Auschwitz Concentration camp.
St. Maximilian Kolbe was one of the brightest scientific minds of the early 20th century and had he not become a Catholic priest St. Maxmilian Kolbe could have become one of the greatest scientists of the modern age.
Kolbe also did not hesitate to question prevailing scientific and political narratives of his time (Darwinism, Communism, Nazism, and Freemasonry) when they came in conflict with scripture, Church teaching, or right reason.
St. Maximilian Kolbe also helped start up a printing press in his native Poland (and later Japan) to help spread the faith, and also used contemporary tools of mass communication as part of his evangelization effort. He is a fitting patron for the Veritas Report.
