Vigil of the Two Hearts

The Vigil of the Two Hearts is a new monthly event centered around the First Friday devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the First Saturday devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

For more information read What Are the First Friday and First Saturday Devotions?

The purpose of this event is to pray for the strengthening of families, to offer reparation for the sins of our nation, and to pray for its conversion.

This prayer vigil will be held each month at the Cathedral of St. Patrick in Charlotte. It begins with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass on First Fridays (8pm) and concludes with Mass on First Saturdays (8am), with all-night Eucharistic Adoration in between.

    • Throughout the night the vigil will include periods of communal vocal prayer interspersed with periods of silent prayer.

Shawn is a regular media spokesperson and his work has been featured on hundreds of media outlets including Fox News, The New York Times, USA Today, National Catholic Register, and EWTN Radio. Shawn has also produced and hosted award-winning pro-life documentaries that have aired on EWTN. Shawn is the co-author of 40 Days for Life and lives in Texas with his wife and six children.

Our Brother’s Keeper: Pray a Rosary Novena for Ireland Ahead of Abortion Vote

Our brother’s keeper: Can you join us for a Rosary novena for Ireland beginning this Wednesday May 16 – Thursday May 24?

Ireland is set to vote on whether to retain or repeal it’s 8th amendment which protects the unborn.  The vote is Friday, May 25, 2018.  We know that the effort to repeal Ireland’s pro-life law is a serious threat to all humanity and serves as a warning for all mankind to pray – to pray especially the Rosary.

That’s where you can help.

Can you join us in helping the Irish by praying a Rosary novena starting this Wednesday May 16 and ending Thursday May 24

Rosary novena: Pray 1 Rosary each day (5 decades) for the intention that the Irish people will retain their pro-life amendment.

Duration: Pray each day from Wednesday May 16 and ending Thursday May 24th (the day before the vote).

Referendum Day, Friday May 25: Please consider attending Mass, fast, offer an Adoration Hour or a visit to the Blessed Sacrament to pray for Ireland as they head to the polls.

Can you help us be our brother’s keeper?
